Terms of use
The bit every website has to have. I've kept it as short and as human as I possibly could, but the sentences below are the ones that count, so they're a little more careful than the rest of the site.

What this service is
AI Exposure Check gives general information about known AI tools, remote access tools and monitoring tools, and the settings that control them. It is free to use.
What it is not
- It checks for known tools and settings only. It cannot find software designed to hide, and a Low result does not mean your device is safe.
- It is not legal, security or professional advice for your situation.
- Descriptions explain what products can do. They are not claims that anyone is misusing them.
Your choices
You decide whether to change any setting or remove any app. Before removing anything, make sure you will not lose something you need, and if you think someone is monitoring you, read our safety page first.
The scanner
The scanner is open-source software under the Apache-2.0 licence, provided "as is" without warranty, as that licence explains.
Our liability
We work hard to keep the information accurate and up to date, but we cannot promise it is complete. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for loss caused by relying on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
